Biography (50-100 words)

Dr. M.A.C.G Wijesundera graduated from University of Colombo in 1996, completed MSSc in Sustainable Development and Gender in 2001 and conferred the PhD in Globalization and Family Studies in 2014. She joined the University of Ruhuna in 1998 and at present she is serving as a coordinator – MA in Sociology program in University of Ruhuna. In addition, she performs as a public speaker on media and for government and non-government organizations. Her specialized fields and teaching areas are focus on Gender and Family Studies, Sociology of Religion, Sustainable Development, Organizational Management and Globalization.
